Curtis D. Drake

April 19, 1951 — February 23, 2024

Curtis D. Drake, 72, of Parkersburg, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2024 at Camden Clark Medical Center.
He was born April 19, 1951, in Parkersburg, a son of the late Baylor C. and Fonda R. Gainer Drake.
Curtis was retired from the West Virginia Division of Corrections. He enjoyed woodworking, working with computers, star gazing and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Shawna L. Lucas Drake; two daughters, Katrina Life (Danny) and Kristina Harrison; six sisters, Lisa Drake, Terri Blair, Grace Cooper, Gloria Smith, Linda Drake and Carol McGill; nine grandchildren, Kayla Valentine (Jordan), Brandon Sees, Kaedon Sees, Taylor Harrison, Josie Harrison, Reece Harrison, Austin Life, Aaron Life and Daniel Life; and one great-grandchild, Sienna Life.
In addition to his parents, Curtis was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul and Marshall Drake; and one sister, Janice Cale.
In keeping with Curtis’s wishes, there will be no services. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home and Crematory, of Pike St. is honored to serve the Drake family.
