Curtis Woodrow Dickson, 81, of Parkersburg, WV passed away Friday, June 26th, 2026, at his residence, surrounded by loving family.

Son of the late Woodrow and Velma Dickson, Curtis was born June 10th, 1945, in Lubbock, Texas. He graduated from high school in Texas, attended college at the University of Texas in Austin, earned his Master's Degree, and went on to serve as a Health Care Director for West Virginia and several other states.

In addition to his parents, Curtis was preceded in death by his first wife, Linda Dickson; and two sisters, Barbara and Sharon.

He is survived by his loving wife of 10 1/2 years, Ruth Ann Dickson; 4 children; 5 step-children; 40 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; and sister, Sandra Keith.

Funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 2, 2026 at North End Church of Christ, with Minister Mark Aites officiating. Visitation will be from 8:00 AM until time of service at the church. Burial will follow at Burnt Hill Cemetery in Williamstown, WV.
