It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Connie Lynn Cook, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, on Monday, May 4, 2026, at her home in Parkersburg. Born in Parkersburg on November 23, 1953, Connie was a lifelong resident known for her unwavering dedication to family and friends.
Connie graduated from Parkersburg South High School, where she laid the foundation for a life characterized by strong work ethic and entrepreneurial spirit. She worked at Challenger Electric as a Production Worker and was the proud owner and operator of RC Trucking, demonstrating resilience and commitment throughout her career.
She is survived by her children: Stacey Pryce (Lance) of Colorado, Heather Enoch (Billy Johnson) of Mineral Wells, and her son Mark Hopkins. Connie was a devoted grandmother to Christina Pryce, Bobby Pryce (Amber), Katelyn Enoch (Kendall Farrow), J.J. Enoch (Tori Delancey), Kaidyn Johnson, Paige Hopkins, Payton Hopkins, and Hunter Hopkins. Her legacy continues in her great-grandchildren: Elliana Pryce, Oakley Pryce, Kinsley Farrow, Brylee Farrow, Willie Best, and baby Best.
Connie was preceded in death by her loving parents, Shirley R. Pahl and Geraldine Pahl, her cherished husband, William Randy Cook, her dear sister, Debra Jean Miller, and her Aunt Wilma Lewis whom she was very close to. Their memories live on as guiding lights in the hearts of her family.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Jonna Roush for the exceptional care and compassion she provided. Through her kindness and dedication, she became not just a caregiver, but a cherished member of the family.
Connie will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who knew and loved her.
A memorial service will be held at Mineral Wells Baptist Church on Saturday, May 9th, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. with Pastor Shane Ward officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 4 – 5 p.m. at the church. Final arrangements are being handled by Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home in South Parkersburg.
