Connie Lee Ayers

Connie Lee Ayers, 71, of Waverly, WV, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born September 5, 1946, in Calhoun County, WV, a daughter of the late Ray and Deloris Cogar Wolverton. Connie is survived by her husband of 46 years, Roger L. Ayers; three daughters, Kimberly McClain (Chris) of Steubenville, OH, Shawn Davis (Ken) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Sharon Jackson (John) of Parkersburg; two brothers, Ken Wolverton of Ravenna, OH and Bob Wolverton of Akron, OH; five grandchildren, Elizabeth Estadt (Josh), Darwin Brown, Bobby Randolph, Alexis Jackson and Caitlin Jackson; and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Connie was preceded in death by one sister, Radell Neese. At Connie’s request there will be no service or visitation. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, south Parkersburg will be assisting the family.
