Clyde Wesley Nelson, 92, of Williamstown, WV, passed away April 8, 2024 at Encompass Health Care of Parkersburg. He was born June 8, 1931, a son of the late Clyde P. and Rosa Kearns Nelson. Clyde was an Air Force Veteran who served honorably during the Korean War. He was employed by G.E. Plastics as a chemical operator and enjoyed fishing all over the country. Canada was a favorite fishing spot for him. He is survived by one step-daughter, Dianne (Paul) Dulaney; two step-sons, Garry (Nanette) Ingraham and Donald (Donna) Ingraham; ten grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren and special friend, Nancy McCormick. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Way Nelson; one sister, Ursula Oliver; two brothers Elmer B. Nelson and Benny Nelson. Funeral services for Clyde will be held at 1PM, Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna with Rev. Paul A McGuire presiding. Visitation will be held 10 A.M. to 1 P.M. prior to service. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens, Parkersburg, WV.
