Clifford L. Mullen, 79, of Walker, W.Va., passed away on March 12, 2015 at his residence.He was born July 18, 1935, in Walker, a son of the late Charles and Birdie M. Marlow Mullen.Clifford was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from Air Products. He was a 32nd degree Mason with the Mt. Olivet Lodge #3 and a member of the Tri-City Baptist Church. He enjoyed bluegrass and gospel music, hunting and hunting dogs, going to car shows and enjoyed watching NASCAR racing and football on TV.He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Helen D. Morris Mullen; three children, Daniel L. Mullen and his wife, Linda of Walker, Crystal L. Hall of Walker and Roger W. Mullen of Davisville, W.Va.; one brother, Lloyd R. Mullen of Parkersburg, W.Va.; five grandchildren; one step-grandchild; twelve great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Carolyn Anderson of Seattle, Wash; a brother-in-law, Bill Ayers of Vienna; and numerous nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Raymond C. Mullen; and one sister, Mildred Ayers.Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at the Mullen Family Cemetery on Kites Run with Pastor Joe Ward officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the W.Va. Honor Guard. Visitation will be from 2:00 -p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St. Parkersburg.
