Cleo Jean Mcgee

Cleo Jean McGee, 76, of Davisville, passed away Sunday, December 8, 2019, at her residence. She was born August 30, 1943 in Canton, OH, a daughter of the late Kelsey and Ada Rumble Parks. She was a 1983 graduate of the Wood County School of Practical Nursing. After receiving her LPN, she worked at the Colin Anderson Center in St. Mary’s WV. Jean was also a homemaker, who loved being with family especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, William (Bill) McGee; three sons, Bill McGee (Cathy) of Waverly, Mike McGee (Dani) of Parkersburg and Steven McGee (Trish) of Belpre; eight grandchildren, Kyle, Sierra, Adam, William, Emily, Samantha, Ashton and Makenzee; one sister, Shirley Anthony (John) of Davisville; two half-sisters, Linda Anderson of Myrtle Beach, SC and Sharon Farnsworth (Bobby) of Vienna, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Debbie and one brother, James Parks. Funeral services will be at 1:00 Thursday, December 12, 2019 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home and Crematory, 400 Green St. Parkersburg, with Pastor Randy Mitchell officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.
