Clayton G. Vanfossen

Clayton G. VanFossen 85 of Belpre, Ohio entered into the gates of heaven on January 16, 2020. He was born March 11, 1934 in Bellaire, Ohio to the late Guy and Maude VanFossen. Clayton was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 1990. He was a member of the Lynn Street Church of Christ. In addition to his beloved wife Sandy, he is survived by his daughter Michele Enoch (Rob) of Coolville, Ohio and special nephew Gene West (Martha) of Senecaville, Ohio along with other nieces, nephews, special friends and neighbors and his fur grandpuppies Buddy & Baylee. Clayton loved working in his yard, planting flowers and reading the Bible. He was preceded in death by sisters and brother-in-laws Jerry & Steve Studenic and Doris and Bob Litzinger and his special fur baby Spudzy. The Family wishes to thank Dr. Bhati and the staff of 4 north at Marietta Memorial Hospital for the special care they provided. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 20, 2020 at Sunset Memorial Gardens and will be officiated by Minister Jason Blackwell. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Belpre is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers the family suggest donations be made to the Human Society of Parkersburg, 530 29th Street, Parkersburg, WV.
