Claude Daniel Collins

Claude Daniel Collins, 61, of Parkersburg, WV passed away July 29, 2011 at his residence. He was born March 31, 1950 in Parkersburg a son of the late Archie R. and Mary L. Scaddin Collins. He enjoyed fishing and attended the 14th Ave. Gospel Mission Church.Claude is survived by his wife of 37 years Barbara Ann King Collins; three daughters, Dawanna Gogan of Florida, Tammy Hoalcraft of Marietta, Ohio, and Claudia Collins of Parkersburg, W.Va.; a son, Joshua Collins of Parkersburg, W.Va.; a sister, Debbie Collins of Pt. Pleasant, W.Va.; three brothers, Tom Collins, Jim Collins and Allen Collins all of Parkersburg, W.Va.; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Rodney Collins. At his request his body was donated to the West Virginia University Human Gift Registry. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, August 4, 2011 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg, W.Va. with Rev. Rufus Hoalcraft officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until time of service Thursday evening at the funeral home.
