Clara "Kathi" Everett

Clara “Kathi” Everett, 73, of Vienna, WV, passed away on June 7, 2021 at Camden Clark Medical Center. She was born October 12, 1947, in Spencer, WV, a daughter of the late Lloyd and Katrina O. Everett. Clara was a proud 1965 graduate of Parkersburg High School. “Once a Big Red, Always a Big Red.” She was employed with Brockway Glass in Vienna, WV and later for Fenton Art Glass in Williamstown, WV. Clara was an avid reader, a former bowler and a member of the Red Hat Society. She loved doing arts and crafts and attending craft shows and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was excited to meet her great-great niece, Baby Cullum due on November 4, 2021 and she was also excited to attend the wedding of her great nephew, Zachary (Rikki) Hively in October of 2021. Clara is survived by her sister, Sheila A. Reed of Parkersburg; two nieces, Carrie Lynn (Darren) Smith of Parkersburg and Katrina Nell Reed of Parkersburg; one nephew, Robin Christopher (Beth) of Vienna; three great nieces, Kristen (Loren) Cullum of Belleville, Mackenzie and Kailey Reed of Vienna; and one great-nephew, Zachary (Rikki) Hively of Logan, OH. In addition to her parents, Clara was preceded in death by her brother, Millard “Ray” Wiant; sister-in-law, Betty Wiant; nephew, Ronnie Wiant; and brother-in-law, Carry “Jerry” Reed. The family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice, Belpre Landing and her boys from Piggly Wiggly for all their kindness. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Vienna with Reverend Rick Brookens officiating.
