Christopher M Wilson

Christopher M. Wilson, 45, passed away peacefully at his childhood home March 21, 2016 due to complications from a car accident 18 years ago that left him bedridden. He was a volunteer firefighter with the Deerwalk Fire Dept., Military Police in Desert Storm with the 24th Mechanized, a WV State Trooper based out of the Oak Hill Detachment and a member of the VFW Post 1212. His motto was “no fear”. He followed his dreams, loved to sing and play his guitars and always lived life to its fullest. He was preceded in death by many family members he truly loved. He leaves behind his parents, Vicky Perdue Wilson and Lawrence S. Wilson, as well as his sister, Tracy Stillson (John), brother, Nick Wilson (Criss), Aunt Heather Perdue Stanley (Rob), three nephews, three nieces, and two great-nieces. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 on Saturday, March 26, at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, South Parkersburg with Pastor Douglas Guinn officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 25, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to University of California San Francisco (UCSF) (InTBIR) International Brain Injury Initiative.
