Christopher Wayne Moore, 33, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away unexpectedly at Camden Clark Medical Center Saturday, September 26, 2015. He was born February 15, 1982 in Parkersburg. He is survived by his parents, Cindy Fluharty Shingleton and her husband, Steven Shingleton of Parkersburg; father, Clarence Ray Moore of Iowa City, Iowa; fiancée, Laura Hazelett and her children, Sadie, Trevor, and Peyton; three sons, Cameron Matheny and his mother, Temperance Matheny, and Logan and Evan Moore and their mother, Jamie Marie; one brother, Bobby Moore and his children, Ashley and Dante Moore; maternal grandmother, Carolyn Fluharty; paternal grandmother, Marjorie Shingleton; step-sister, Christina Renee Shingleton; half-sister, Kayla Ann Moore; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.Chris was a 2000 graduate of PHS, was Baptist by faith, and was employed by Surge Staffing at Wincore. He was a Sergeant in the United States Army, serving 10 years with several tours of duty overseas, including Iraq and Kuwait.He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Buryl Jefferson Fluharty Jr; paternal grandfather, Willard Shingleton Jr; and aunt, Rosie Braham.The family will receive friends 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike Street, Parkersburg, W.Va. Interment will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday in the West Virginia National Cemetery in Pruntytown, West Virginia with full military honors.In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy be made to Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home to help with unexpected expenses.
