Charlotte Lorraine Wine

Charlotte Lorraine Wine,76,of Washington, W.Va. passed away Thursday, April 24, 2014 at her residence.She was born March 30, 1938 in Fayette County, W.Va., a daughter of the late James and Eula Trump McCarthy. Charlotte had previously worked for Sears and Roebuck and enjoyed collecting angels and spoons. She loved working outdoors in her flower gardens and enjoyed being with her family. Charlotte is survived by her four children, Gregory Wine (Carol) of Houston, TX, Jeffery Wine (Dawn) of Weston, W.Va., Douglas Wine of Washington, W.Va., and Kathryn Stevens (Bill) of Oklahoma City, OK; one sister, Mary Lou Stair (Carl) of Canton, OH; eleven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Burl Wine; her daughter, Kimberly Wine Carnes; two infant sons, Stewart and Randy Wine; a granddaughter, Kayla Wine; and a brother, James “Jim” McCarthy. Memorial services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, April 27, 2014 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., Parkersburg, W.Va. Burial will be at the Limestone Cemetery in Rockport, W.Va. at a later date. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
