Charlotte Sue Jenkins

Charlotte “Sue” Jenkins, 75, of Vienna, passed away April 4, 2017 at her residence. She was born August 8, 1941 at home in Wood County, the daughter of the late Dale and Delphia Collins Hammer. Sue was a graduate of PHS with the class of 1959. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, the friendship circle and the United Methodist Women, the Red Hat Society, Country Roads Camping Club and V I P P of State Parks of WV. She retired from GE Plastics as a Chemical Operator and especially loved taking care of everyone. She is survived by her husband, Jim Jenkins whom she married January 9, 1981; daughter, Shirley (John) Jackson of Vienna; son, Randy Schultz of Parkersburg; step-sons, Rick, Randy (Cindy) and Rob (Mona) Jenkins all of Vienna; sisters, Lou (Jim) McVay of Virginia, Sandra (Buzzy) Holliday of Lubeck, WV, Sheila Gutherie of Virginia and Christy Miller of Vienna; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.; two very special great-nephews, Ty and Easton Miller; six grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter. Funeral services for Sue will be at 11:00 A.M. Friday, April 7, 2017 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave, Vienna, WV, with Pastor Carolyn Nettles officiating. Burial will follow the service at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Parkersburg. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00-8:00 P.M.
