Charles Thomas “Tom” Springer, 66, of Belpre, Ohio, passed away on December 21, 2017 at Marietta Memorial Hospital at Belpre Campus. He was born October 14, 1951, in Wood County, son of the late, Jesse Arlis and Cora Todd Springer. Tom was a self-employed Auto Mechanic. He enjoyed hunting. Tom attended the Church of The Lost and Found and the Lighthouse Temple for many years where he served as an outstanding Deacon. He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Leana Williams Springer; three daughters, Mechelle Morelli of Columbus, Ohio, Emma Rutter (Joshua) of Belpre, Ohio and Stacy Springer of Alliance, Ohio; son, Charles Thomas Springer II of Parkersburg, WV; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by one brother, Clay Floyd Springer “Bud”. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St, Parkersburg with Pastor Vernon Reams officiating. Interment will follow at the Old German Lutheran Cemetery, at Mountwood Park. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
