Charles Wade Parsons

Charles Wade Parsons, 53, of Millwood, WV, passed away at his home on December 18, 2018. He was born on January 13, 1965, in Parkersburg, WV, to the late Raymond and Gladys (Whitlatch) Parsons. He was preceded in death by one son, Stephen Russell Parsons; and his brother in-law, Danny Perry. He is survived by the love of his life, Peggy Simon; three sons, Charles Wade, Michael Blake and Brett Charles Parsons; three daughters, Shauna Rae, Breanna Lee and Samantha Jo Parsons all of Parkersburg; five granddaughters, Alexis, Abby, Trinity, Stevie-Rae Parsons and Sophie Hanshaw; one grandson, Dean Parsons; one sister, Cyndi Perry of Millwood, WV; two brothers, Michael (Lisa) Parsons of Parkersburg, WV and Tim (Kayla) Parsons of Charleston, WV; two nephews, Michael Parsons; and five nieces, Maggie Rae Parsons, Natasha Kelsey, Alexis Casto, Libby & Randy Lanham and Randi Marshall. Charlie attended Parkersburg South High School. He was a member of the United Methodist Church. Charlie would help anyone with anything. Everyone that had ever been around him working, knew he only had one speed that was full throttle, wide open. Charlie was a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend. He was loved by all who knew him. He had an amazing heart and loved spending time with his family. He is a lifelong Cowboys fan. Charlie was a carpenter by trade and ran his own business for many years. His greatest joy in life was being a father and grandfather. He will be dearly missed. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, south Parkersburg with Michael and Lisa Parsons officiating. Visitation will be from noon until time of service.
