Charles R Lee

Charles R. Lee, 91, of Williamstown, WV, went home to be with the Lord, on November 27, 2025. He was born on February 26, 1934, in Parkersburg, WV. Son of the late Daniel C. Lee and Dorothy M. Boso.

Charles was in the 82nd Airborne, a member of the local Painters Union, #1140, and a charter member of the Boaz Baptist Church. Charles was a devoted family man and married to the love of his life, the late Leuwana “Bonnie” J. Lee for 65 years, Charles is survived by two sons, John (Debbie) of Greenwood, IN and Jason (Kim) of Williamstown. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Amy Lee (Brian Montgomery) of Louisville, KY, Daniel Lee of Bedford, IN, and Jadyn Lee of Williamstown, WV, and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, and his wife, Charles was alto preceded in death by his brothers, Floyd Lee, and Frank Lee, and his sister, Roberta McClung.

A short graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, December 6th, at Riverview Cemetery, Williamstown, WV, with Pastor Jonathan Butcher officiating.
