A Memorial Video to Glen is now available on this site.Charles Glen Hanna, 84, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away after a long illness August 23, 2015 at Camden Clark Medical Center surrounded by his family.He was born Oct. 26, 1930 in Palestine, W.Va. to Charlie and Bessie Smith Hanna.Charles attended Wirt County schools and graduated from Wirt County High School.He served two years in the military and married Martha Louree Skeen on June 5, 1959. He retired from G.E. Company in 1989. He was an avid reader and he loved to travel and watch WVU Football games.He is survived by his wife, Martha; sons, Bruce Hanna and Craig (Amy) Tanner, both of Parkersburg; one brother, William (Diane) Hanna of Parkersburg; sisters, Lois Sheppard and Mary Collins, both of Palestine, Betty Baldrige of Pennsylvania, and Sharon (Ray) Sprague of Kansas; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Dennis Paul Hanna; two brothers, Clayburn and Jim; three sisters, Janet Tanner, Virginia Criner, and Eva Kay Hanna.Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 South Parkersburg with Rev. Doug Sandy officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of services Saturday at the funeral home.Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society, P.O.
