Charles Michael Griffin

Charles Michael Griffin, 66, of Mineral Wells, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2020. He was born August 10, 1953, in Parkersburg, a son of the late Charles Benjamin and Lena Mae Eaton Griffin. Charles was a graduate of Parkersburg South High School and retired from The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 71. He enjoyed farming, his tractors and spending time with his family. He is survived by his daughter, Jenifer Ann Jones (Charles) of Mineral Wells; his son, Michael Richard Griffin of Parkersburg; the mother of his children, Sherry Taylor of Davisville; one sister, Nina Mae Rebholtz (Hiram “Mac”) Central, WV; one brother, Clayton Griffin (Kay) of Parkersburg; six grandchildren, Kaiden Griffin, Ryleigh Jones, Alec Jones, Ivan Griffin, Reese Griffin and Gunner Griffin; and his best friend, Wayne Lockhart of Parkersburg. In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his two brothers, Carl Benjamin “Tadpole” Griffin and Billy Eugene Griffin; and his sister, Mary Frances Hamrick. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, south Parkersburg. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Mineral Wells. Visitation will be from 5-8 pm on Monday at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service.
