Charles "Chuck" E. Daley

Charles “Chuck” E. Daley, 81, of Vienna, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2018 at Belpre Landing. He was born June 2, 1937 in Parkersburg, WV, a son of the late Walter and Stella Dailey Daley. Chuck was a 1955 graduate of Parkersburg High School and a graduate of Marietta College. He was also a member of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves. He was employed at BF Goodrich/ RJF in Marietta and Astorg Motors in Parkersburg. He was a lifelong member of 19th Street Church of God in Parkersburg where he was a dedicated Sunday School teacher for many years. He enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling and spending time with his family. He is survived by Judy, his wife of 52 years; daughter, Rebecca (Steven) Toole of Vidalia, GA; son, Scott (Angela) of Vienna; four grandchildren, Brooke (Andrew) Flowers, Katelyn Daley, Megan Toole and Jacob Daley (Reghan); he is also survived by his sister, Barbara (Clyde) Cooper of Pettyville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, William and Donald. Funeral services will be Monday, October 29, 2018 at 11 am at Parkersburg 19th St. Church of God with Pastors Jimmie Cox, Michael Cox and Randall Fuson officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday from 3-8 pm at the church and one hour prior to the service.
