Charles H. Davis

Charles H. “Chuck” Davis, 61 of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away Sept. 6, 2015 at Marietta Memorial Hospital following a courageous battle with kidney disease.He was born May 29, 1954 in Keyser, W.Va., son of the late Edwin Eugene and Helen Wittekind Davis. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was retired from the PM Company and was a member and extended family of the River City Farmers Market in Marietta, Ohio. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Lynn Davis; a daughter, Shannon Staab (Mike) of Wilmington, Delaware; a son, Jeffery Davis (Andrea) of Parkersburg; two sisters, Deanna Pifer (Lewis) and Dixie Twyman both of Vienna, W.Va.; a brother, Edwin Davis II (Leasa) of Parkersburg; four grandchildren, Maranda, Moriah, Maya and Payton; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by Baby Girl Serena; and a sister, Della Franklin.There will be no visitation or service at this time. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 400 Green St. Parkersburg is assisting the family.The family wishes to say a special thank you to Dr. Hairani and the staff at the Dialysis Unit.
