Charles "Bill" William Bock

Charles “Bill” Bock, 77, of Parkersburg, passed away February 24, 2025 at his residence. He was born February 25, 1947 in Parkersburg, a son of the late Charles B. and Lula Marie Full Bock.

He was a 1964 of Parkersburg High School. He retired after 35 years with Corning/Schott Scientific. He was a Christian and active with the Assemblies of God. He enjoyed watching WVU Sports, the Cincinnati Reds, and the Dallas Cowboys.

Bill is survived by his wife of 58 years, Carolyn Farrar Bock; one daughter, Leanne Adams (Dave) of Mineral Wells; two sons, Doug Bock (Cheryl) of Lexington, SC and Mark Bock of Parkersburg; four grandchildren, Taylor Bock, Kaitlyn Drake (Tyler), Jacob Bock, and Maddison Bock; one great-grandchild, Suzanna Fortney; one brother, Harold Bock (Neva); and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, March 3, 2025 at Lambert Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St. South Parkersburg with Pastor Brad Puckett officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen North Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday, March 2 and one hour prior to the services on Monday.
