Celesta Jill Smith, 44, of Coolville, Ohio passed away Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Marietta Memorial Hospital, Marietta, Ohio. She was born July 8, 1971 in Parkersburg, West Virginia, a daughter of Rick Hamrick of California and Rose Johnson of Walker, West Virginia. Celesta was a graduate of Parkersburg High School and Washington State College with a degree in Criminal Justice; and was co-owner/operator of Smith Floor Coverings. She loved life and being with her family, traveling, and car shows. She is survived by her husband, Brad Smith; one daughter, Tiffany Smith of the home; two sons, Scott Frye of Parkersburg and Tyler Wilson of Coolville; mother-in-law and step-father-in-law Judy and Sherman Gerlack; father-in-law and step-mother-in-law Steve and Delain Smith of Mineral Wells; one sister, Dreama Kinney of Parkersburg; two brothers-in-law, Stacy Smith (Cathy) and Kevin Smith (Jessica) all of Mineral Wells; two sisters-in-law, Shelley Smith (Greg Mitchell) of Washington, West Virginia and Judith Fields (Dean) of South Carolina; and several nieces and nephews. Celesta was preceded in death by her Grandmother Hamrick and her grandmother Lena Lott. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, April 28, 2016 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike Street, Parkersburg, West Virginia with Pastor William Cottrell officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen South Cemetery, Parkersburg, West Virginia. The family will receive friends 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
