Cathy Elaine Roberts

Cathy Elaine McCrady Roberts, 58, of Parkersburg, W.Va., left earth to join her son, Chad; sisters, Judy and Shelby; brother-in-law, Mickey Bunner; and her mother and father, in the promised land, on December 22, 2012 at her residence.On December 26, 1953, a very special, strong, compassionate, caring, loving and very funny person blessed us all that knew her, was born in Wood Co., W.Va., a daughter of the late Denver and Margaret Rumburg McCrady.Cathy had worked at Broadway Sandwich Shop and attended South Parkersburg United Methodist Church.She leaves behind her son, Doug; granddaughter, Jessica; brother, Dale; sister, Lou; a number of very special nieces and nephews; and a lot of loving friends.Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 28, 2012 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2333 Pike St. Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Rick Brown officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.We will hold her memory in our hearts forever. May peace and love be with you.
