Cathy Blevins

Cathy McDonald Blevins, 73, of Mineral Wells, WV went to be with The Lord on Monday, April 1, 2024.

She was born February 11, 1951 in Clarksburg, WV, a daughter of the late Glendon McDonald and Minoka Pearl Jett Mackey. Cathy was self-employed as a beautician with over 32 years of service and was a member of the First Assembly of God.

Surviving is her husband of 52 years James O’Dell Blevins, Jr; her daughter, Sabrina Dawn Powell (Henry) of Washington, WV; brother, John E. Powell of Finley, OH; sister, Glenda D. McDonald of Harrisville, WV; granddaughter, Morgan Cunningham (Devin) and great-grandchildren, Alena Powell and Alaurick Knotts.

In addition to her parents, Cathy was preceded in death by her son, Glendon Patrick Blevins.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 pm Friday, April 5, 2024 at the First Assembly of God Church, Parkersburg with Pastor Brad Puckett officiating. Interment will follow at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Harrisville. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm Thursday at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St, South Parkersburg and one hour prior to the services Friday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mama T and the Warriors, Parkersburg First Assembly, 139 Hill Ave, Parkersburg, WV 26101, in memory of Cathy.
