Catherine Marie Layman

Catherine Marie Layman, 53, of Mineral Wells, W.Va. passed away on July 28, 2015 at her residence.She was born June 17, 1962, in Wood County, W.Va., a daughter of Paul Layman of Walker, W.Va. and Adath Coss DeMoss of Parkersburg. Catherine was employed at Winans Services.In addition to her parents, she is survived by her son, James DeVore of Mineral Wells; one sister, Missy Layman of Parkersburg, W.Va.; two brothers, Allen (Tara) Layman of Vienna, W.Va. and Paul (Tina) Coss of Parkersburg; and five grandchildren, Daymien, Cierra, Legend, Kierson and Madison.She was preceded in death by her son, Shawn Layman; her granddaughter, Bella Layman; and her companion, Barry Bartlett.At her request, there will be no visitation or services. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home and Cremation Services will be assisting the family with arrangements.
