Carolyn Wood

Carolyn R. Wood, 73, of Vienna, passed away on Saturday, July 28, 2018. She was born in Akron, Ohio on April 15, 1945 to the late James and Audrey Harper Frazier. She is survived by her brother, Mike (Joyce) Frazier; sister, Janet Stinespring; niece, Jill (Jeff) Smith; nephews, John (Melissa) Galici and Erik (Holly) Frazier; and niece, Heather Frazier. She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Jim Wood and her two sons, Troy and David. She met her husband while working at Dudley’s Florist and then spent most of her years as a stay-at-home mom. The love that this family had for one another was inspiring to all! Carolyn loved God, her family, her friends, and her collection of Bibles. She was an active member of the Grand Central Church of Christ. Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 1, at 1:00 PM at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave., Vienna, WV 26105 with Ryan Ice and Dick Long officiating. Interment will follow at the Evergreen North Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until time of services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
