Carolyn Ann Broadwater

Carolyn Ann Broadwater, 89, of Vienna, passed away Easter Sunday, April 5th, 2026, at Cedar Grove. She was born, March 5, 1937, in Parkersburg, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Willis O. and Anna Grace Shaffer Buckley.

She was a 1955 Graduate of Parkersburg High School. She was a homemaker, and at one time worked for Dr. Lutz and Kohlheim. For several years, she was secretary at Broadwater Motor Car Inc. She loved being with her Family and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Parkersburg where she was a member of the Ladies Circle.

She is survived by her husband, Ashford Broadwater II, three sons, Ashford Broadwater III(Sparky) and his fiancé Kelly of Morgantown, Mark J. Broadwater(Patty) of Williamstown, and David Allan Broadwater of Scot Depot, WV. One sister, Janet Eaton, of Parkersburg. Three Grandchildren, Trayce, Stephanie, and Landon. Three great-grandchildren Jaslyn, Hannah, and Maverick. Several Nieces, and Nephews.

In addition to her Parents, she was preceded by a great grandson, Gunner, and a sister, Sharon Bailes.

Services will be held at a later date; In Lieu of Flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church, 813 Market St, Parkersburg, WV 26101. Lambert-Tatman is honored to work with the Broadwater family.
