Caroline C. Masten

Caroline C.Masten, 85 of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away Sept. 16, 2014 at Camden Clark Medical Center.She was born Nov. 10, 1928 in Weirton, W.Va. a daughter of the late Carl Edward and Melissa Sires Crooks. She was a member of The Free Methodist Church in Weirton, W.Va. She enjoyed fishing, camping , singing, and being with her family.She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Charles “Chick” Masten; three sons, Harold “Butch” Life Jr. (Mary Ann), Jeffery W. Life (girlfriend Martha) and Larry Masten (Janie) all of Parkersburg; three sisters, Mildred Matheny, Dean Wright and Vera Life all of Parkersburg; five grandchildren, Danielle, Brandy, Megan, Brianna, and Amanda; and four great-grandchildren, Cohen, Dylan, Annisty, and Madalee.In addition to her parents Caroline was preceded in death by three brothers, Edwin, Buddy and Carl.Services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg, W.Va. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Parkersburg. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
