Carles Lee Casto

Carles Lee Casto, 82, of Mineral Wells, went to be with his Lord Jesus on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at WVU Camden Clark Medical Center surrounded by his family. He fought a courageous battle with cancer. He was born April 4, 1942 in Ripley, a son of the late George R. and Minerva J. Harmon Casto.

He attended South Parkersburg Baptist Church. He enjoyed walking with friends (Windsor Gang), going to the Amish Country, loved animals of all kinds, and spending time with family, especially his grandsons and great-grandsons. He was a frequent customer at Western Sizzlin and a lover of half-cut tea. He will be missed by many. If you knew him, you loved him.

Left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 63 years, Mary R. Casto; daughters, Brenda McKnight (Chris), Linda Deaver (Lee), and bonus daughter, Kimberly Yeager (Todd); brother, Roger Casto (Barb); grandchildren, Brandon Watson (Kayte), Benjamin Watson (Kaleigh), Ian McKnight, and Clayton Yeager; great-grandchildren, Parker John Watson and Camdon Lee Watson; sisters-in-law, Connie Casto and Helen Casto; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Michael Lee Casto and two brothers, Kenneth and Ray Casto.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at Lambert Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., South Parkersburg with Pastor Adam Paff officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, March 3 and one hour prior to services on Tuesday at the funeral home.
