Carl Edmund Vance

Carl E. Vance, 57 of Vienna, W.Va. passed away May 30, 2015 at Camden Clark Medical Center, Parkersburg.He was born February 15,1958 in Logan County, W.Va. and was raised in Chapmanville, W.Va., by his dedicated mother, Nellie.He was a poet who authored C.E. Vance Poetic Verses “a handful of words”.Carl is survived by his lifelong love, Patsy Shaffer; brothers, Lambert (Phyllis), Donny (Mariafe) and Danny (Marie) Vance, and many other caring family and friends. He loved to write poetry and he loved his dogs and loved walking. He was a good and caring man. He thanks his friends for their help when needed most.A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
