Buster Ferrell Griffin

Buster Ferrell Griffin, 96, of Vienna, WV, passed away May 7, 2017 at his residence. He was born August 20, 1920 in Rocksdale, WV, the son of the late George G. and Ester Starcher Griffin. Buster was an Army Veteran of WWII, worked at J.P. Industries in Caldwell, Ohio and was a member of Fairlawn Baptist Church. He is survived by his son, Joseph Griffin of Vienna; and three grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Starcher Griffin; son, Eric; one daughter, Beverly Jarvis; four brothers, Clarence, Lawrence, Lora and Rex; and four sisters, Ida Craddock, Eula Nicholson, Myrtle and Lizzie Griffin. Funeral services for Ferrell will be at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave, Vienna, with Pastor Jason Spade officiating. Entombment will follow the service at Sunset Memory Gardens, Parkersburg. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
