"Bud" Boston

“Bud” Boston, 87, of Walker, West Virginia, passed away at his residence, July 3, 2014. He was born June 14, 1927 in Wood County, W.Va. a son of the late Daniel Clifton and Florence Kress Boston. Bud served in the United States Air Force during World War II. He retired from Diamond Glass in 1986 and worked part time at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home for several years. He was a member of the Church of Christ and was a member of the Glass Bottle Blowers.Bud is survived by one son, Chuck Boston of the home and his two children, Rachel and Zachary; two daughters, Brenda (Kenny) Lancaster of Middlebourne, W.Va. and their two children, Crystal and Chris and Linda Sue (Jim) Harrison of Tucson, Arizona; three great-grandchildren; and Special nieces, Terry and Patty.In addition to his parents, Bud was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma F. Williamson Boston, whom he married in 1947; one sister, Kathryn Hyde; and one brother, William Boston.Funeral services for Bud will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2014 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike Street, Parkersburg, W.Va. with Lawney Kuphner, Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens with full military honors by American Legion Post 15 of Parkersburg. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, July 7, at the funeral home.The family wishes to extend thanks to special neighbors and caregivers, Steve and Carolyn Burk and Amedisys Hospice staff Amy, Elizabeth, and Beth.
