Date and Time of Service: 11 AM Wednesday August 25, 2010posted 8/22/2010 at 8:13:27 AMBubba Smith, 54 of Washington, WV died unexpectedly August 20, 2010 at the Ohio State University Medical Center in the arms of his family.He was a 1976 graduate of Parkersburg South High School and was a 30 year employee of Benson Truck Bodies in Mineral Wells, WV. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with friends and family. He was a long time volunteer of the Wood County 4-H and FFA and enjoyed helping the youth. He was a member of the National Wild Turkey Federation and Moose Lodge.This year he celebrated his 30 year anniversary to his wife Cheryl Ross Smith of Washington. In addition to his wife he is survived by his daughter Jodi C. Smith; son Andy Smith and his wife Trisha of Belleville, their children, the love of his life and sparkle in his eye Izzy and Hollie; his parents Robert and Opal Milhoan Smith of Washington; one brother Larry Smith(Joyce); two sisters Patty Fluharty and Tammy Province. Several nieces and nephews that he loved very much.He was preceded in death by his grandmother Vera Milhoan.Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-8 pm at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home 2333 Pike St. South Parkersburg funeral services will be held at 11am on Wednesday August 25, 2010 with Pastor Scott Morehead officiating. Burial will follow at Bethany Christian Cemetery on New England Ridge.
