Bruce Douglas Vore

Bruce Douglas Vore, 66, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away on August 19, 2015 at Davis Medical Center.He was born Sept. 5, 1948, in Zanesville, Ohio, a son of the late Bernard William and Sarah M. Reeder Vore. Bruce retired from DeVol's Cycle Center and had worked at many motorcycle shops. He was a NASCAR fan, a Stevie Nicks fan and loved Fleetwood Mac.He is survived by his daughter, Sherry R. (Randy) Eagle of Parkersburg, two sons, Mark E. (Sandy) Vore of Parkersburg and David W. (Kimberly) Vore of Walker, W.Va.; one sister, Ann (Bob) Bunner of Parkersburg; one brother, David W. Vore of Parkersburg; several grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marcia Vore.Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 24, 2015 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St. south Parkersburg, with Pastor Bob Watkins officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen North Cemetery.Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of services on Monday at the funeral home.
