Bruce Joseph Shepard

Bruce Joseph Shepard, 73, of Ravenswood, WV, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at his residence. He was born November 15, 1944 in Starksboro, VT, a son of the late Floyd Clinton and Rollande Mary J. Racicot Shepard. Bruce was a U.S. Navy Veteran. In his younger years, Bruce worked on a dairy farm and was a bus driver for Betcha Transportation in Vermont. He retired from Green Mountain Power, where he was an electrician and was owner of Barnhouse Horse Stables in Vermont. He was currently employed at Walmart in Parkersburg, WV. Bruce was a member of the American Legion and the IBEW in Vermont. He is survived by his wife, Linda Smith Shepard; son, Cameron Shepard (Melissa); and two sisters, Lorraine and Phyllis. In addition to his parents, Bruce was preceded in death by his sister, Marie. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, south Parkersburg is assisting the family with arrangements.
