Brenda Kay Carper

Brenda Kay Carper, 62, of Parkersburg, passed away on June 23, 2016 at her residence. She was born October 16, 1953, in Clay, W.Va., a daughter of the late Senate and Wanda Carr Parsons. Brenda enjoyed traveling and motorcycle riding. She loved being with her family and had accompanied her husband around the world during his twenty one year U.S. Army career. She is survived by her husband of forty years, Dan Carper; two daughters, Carrie Parsons (Daniel) of Parkersburg W.Va. and Christy Carper (Nate White) of Spencer, W.Va.; four sisters; three brothers; and four grandchildren, Daniel Parsons Jr., Derek Parsons, Cameron Carper and Pyper White. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Ruby Leatherwood. The family requests that donations be made to The Strecker Cancer Center 800 Farson Ave. Belpre, Ohio 45714 in Brenda’s memory. Memorial services will be held Monday, June 27 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2333 Pike St. south Parkersburg. Visitation will be one hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home.
