Brandon Louis Lovell

Brandon Louis Lovell, 29, departed this life Thursday, August 1, 2013. Brandon was a cherished father, son and brother, as well as a devoted husband.Brandon was proud to be an apprentice electrician in I.B.E.W. Local 968. He attended Concord College and graduated from Parkersburg South High School in 2002. He played varsity soccer for both schools. Brandon was talented in many areas, but soccer was one where he excelled. His skills were honed by many great coaches and countless hours on the field playing with the Wood County Thunder soccer team. He was an excellent stopper with juggling skills that were unparalleled. Music played a large part in Brandon's life. He was a natural musician who played the trumpet and taught himself to play the guitar. Many hours could pass with Brandon listening to music, making music, and making people laugh with his song parodies.From an early age, it was evident that Brandon was a gentle soul with a huge heart. He loved all animals and loved to make people smile and laugh. There was always a twinkle in his blue eyes and a smile on his lips. One of the greatest joys in his life were his three sons – Jackson, Sam, and Ayden and their dog, Nugget. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.Brandon is survived his parents, Bob and Pam Lovell of Parkersburg, W.Va.; his sister, AnnaLe Jahn (Scott) of Chagrin Falls, Ohio; a niece, Norah Jahn; and a nephew, Connor Jahn.Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Kevin Starcher officiating. Visitation will be noon to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.A fund has been set up for the children in memory of Brandon at I.B.E.W.
