Churchposted 8/11/2010 at 4:24:45 PMBonnie Gwen (Gibson) Powell, 86, of the Beulah Hill Community in Elizabeth, W.Va. passed away August 10, 2010.She was an active member of the Beulah Presbyterian Church, a former employee of the Bureau of Public Debt for 22 years, and a Realtor for 16 years. She graduated from Wirt County High School in 1942 and WVU.She is survived by her daughter, Ethel L. Hathaway (Wes); granddaughters, Charolette Hathaway, Brenda Tuggle (Roger), Robyn Ellison (Joshua), and Kalena Pack (John); great-grandchildren, Eric, Whitney, Wesley, Jakub, Seth, Eden and Raiden; great-great-grandchildren, Madison, Trace, Peyden and Charleigh-Ann; one sister, Betsy Stone; sisters-in-law, Betty Gibson and Carol Gibson.She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter; her parents, French and Lizzie (Nester) Gibson; brothers, Glyde Gibson, Glenn Gibson, and Billy Gibson; sister, Gladys Gibson; brother-in-law, R. W. “Bootsy” Stone; and sister-in-law, Edith Gibson.Visitation will be Friday, August 13, from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., south Parkersburg and one hour prior to services. Services will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 14, at the Beulah Presbyterian Church, Wirt County, WV, with Rev. Bob Stanley officiating and burial to follow in the church cemetery.
