Billy L. Powell

Billy L. Powell, 85, of Parkersburg passed away November 2, 2017 at Camden Clark Medical Center. He was born April 23, 1932 in Madison, W.Va. a son of the late Theron and Mary Queen Powell. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Billy was a partner and co-owner with his best friend, Bill Parrish at 3B Carpet. He enjoyed fishing, e-bay, watching baseball and attended St. Paul's United Methodist Church. Billy is survived by his daughter, Annetta Jane Powell Moran (Charles) of West Palm Beach, FL; his son, Robert W. “Bill” Powell (Janet) of Parkersburg; six grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Annetta Lee Powell in 2013; a son, Steven Lewis Powell; and a brother, Ronald Powell. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Don Yeager officiating.
