Billy Augustus Full, 87, of Mineral Wells, W.Va., passed away in the early morning of December 23, 2019 in Marietta, Ohio after a brief illness. Billy was born on April 19, 1932 in Peewee, West Virginia. He was the son of the late Cecil and Laura Brown Full. Billy was a lifelong farmer who still worked on his beloved farm in his later years. He retired from E.I. DuPont after 32 years of service. In addition, Billy was an Army veteran, and a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Doris Mae Athey Full. He is also survived by his son, Douglas Full and his wife, Lori, of Mineral Wells, as well as his daughter, Dora Lea Full Thompson and her husband, Richard, of Mineral Wells. In addition, Billy is survived by three grandchildren: Felica (Bryce) Swecker, Nathan Full, and Justin Thompson. Billy is also survived by one sister, Karen McFee, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two brothers, Bobby and Lewis Full, and one sister, Wanda Hunter. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 pm Thursday and one hour prior to services at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St. Funeral services will be Friday, December 27, 2019 at 11:00 am at Lambert-Tatman, with the Rev. Steve Gedon officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery where military rites will be conducted by the American Legion Post #15.
