Billy Ronald Cobb

Billy Ronald Cobb passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at the age of 83. Born on November 25, 1942, in Parkersburg, Bill embraced a life of dedication and service, both in his hometown and to his country.

Bill proudly served in the United States Army, a testament to his unwavering commitment to his nation's call. Following his service, he embarked on a long and successful career in timekeeping with Lockheed Martin, where his attention to detail and diligence left a lasting impression on colleagues and friends alike.

Family was of utmost importance to Bill, and he cherished every moment spent with them. He is survived by his sister, Sharon Sue Wilson of Parkersburg, and his brother, David W. Cobb of Pacific Palisades, CA, along with David's wife, Debra. Bill also leaves behind several nieces and nephews who fondly remember their uncle's warmth, wisdom, and generous spirit.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents, William A. and Mary G. Godbey Cobb, as well as his brothers, Donald E. Cobb and Dail Cobb, and his sister, Eloise Underwood. Though he has now reunited with them in peace, he will be deeply missed by all those whose lives he touched.

A memorial service to honor Bill's life will be held on Monday, September 28, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Lambert Tatman Funeral Home in South Parkersburg. Evangelist Daniel P. Curry, Jr. will officiate, celebrating Bill’s journey and the remarkable impact he left behind. Family will accept visitors one hour prior to the serve. Arrangements are being managed with care by Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, South Parkersburg.

Bill will be remembered for his quiet strength, steadfast loyalty, and the kindness he shared freely with those around him. His legacy of love, service, and commitment will continue to inspire all who knew him.
