Billy Ray Bowers

Billy Ray Bowers, 67, of Washington, WV., passed away on August 23, 2024 at the Willows Center. He was born May 8, 1957, a son to the late Guy and Wanda Bowers.

He was a graduate from Parkersburg South High School. Afterwards, he worked in maintenance with Winans services at DuPont for 26 years. He enjoyed Nascar, nature, and fishing.

Left to cherish his memory is his son, Michael Bowers (Carrie) of Washington, WV.; his daughter, DeEtta Bowers (John) of Parkersburg; a half-sister, Fera Dickel; six grandchildren, Keaton Gaskins, Sara Bowers, Wyatt Bowers, Jewelanna Oldham, Bella Oldham, and Zane Oldham; and one great-granddaughter, Lily Hollobaugh.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife of 48 years, Patricia Bowers; and one brother, Emanuel Bowers.

Per Billy’s last wishes, he will be cremated with no public services.
