Billie Paulette Miller, 71, of Williamstown,W.Va. and formerly of Vienna, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 at Camden Clark Medical Center, Parkersburg, W.Va. She was born August 24, 1945, in West Union, W.Va., daughter to the late Paul Herbert and Phyllis Eileen Williamson Cunningham. Billie had worked as a security guard for Saint Moritz, was a Baptist by faith, and member of the Williamstown Senior Center. She enjoyed painting, flower gardening and watching television, especially Westerns featuring John Wayne, Chuck Norris and Patrick Swayze. She is survived by three daughters, Kathy Deuley (Terry) of Williamstown, Rebecca Day (Ronald) of Parkersburg, and Angela Johnson (Steven) of Walker, W.Va.; one son Bill Miller (fiancé, Lori) of Evans, W.Va.; sister Barbara Joe McCutcheon of Beechbottom, W.Va.; brother Paul Edward Cunningham of Parkersburg; eight grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren; and best friend Sandy Miller. In addition to her parents, Billie was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Edward Miller (2003); and her sister, Catherine Elizabeth Workman. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dale and Gloria Stanley, Rick and Sherri Forsaty and Harold and Neva Swartz. A funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 5, 2016 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave. Vienna, with Reverend Jeffrey Williamson officiating. Family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service Saturday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the funeral home to offset unexpected expenses.
