Beverly Gayle Lockhart of Parkersburg, 64 of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away Oct. 17, 2015 at Camden Clark Medical Center.She was born June 28, 1951 in Wood County, W.Va., daughter of Edwin C. Lemley and the late Glenna Patterson Lemley. She was a 1969 graduate of Parkersburg High School and a graduate of Parkersburg Beauty College. She was a former president of the Wood County Women's Republican committee, former president of the W.Va. State Republican Women, and a former chairwoman of the Wood County Executive Committee. She was a member of the Spreading Truth Ministries Church in Parkersburg.Beverly is survived by her husband of 27 years, Perry Lockhart; step-mother, Ileene Lemley; one son, James Andrew Ferrell and wife, Shay of Fuguay Varina, NC; one daughter, Carey Ferrell of Gautier, MS; two grandsons, Christian Quezada and Camron Ferrell; one granddaughter, Ariana Reagan Ferrell; two sisters, Regina Carrico and husband, Joe of Vienna, W.Va., Sheryl Sensabaugh and husband, Don of Charleston, W.Va.; one brother, Edwin D. Lemley and wife, Lora of Vienna, W.Va.; and two step-brothers, Ken Knopp of Nashville, TN and Lester Knopp of Indiana.In addition to her mother, Glenna Lemley, she was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Roy and Freda Patterson; and paternal grandparents, Grover C. and Della Lemley. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, 2015 at the Spreading Truth Ministries Church at 1093 Core Road, Parkersburg with Pastor Ralph Tisdale and Bishop Joe Nelson officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at the church and one hour prior to services Thursday.The family wishes to thank Housecalls Hospice for the wonderful care given to Beverly.Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg is assisting the family with the services.
