Betty Lucille Ware

Betty Lucille Ware, 85 of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away March 9, 2013 at The Willows.She was born March 11, 1927 in Walker, W.Va. a daughter of the late Lawrence and Goldie Miller Hopkins. She worked at the Parkersburg Tile Plant, at Hill's Dept. store and also as a homemaker. Betty collected chickens, roosters and angel figurines. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.She is survived by three sons, Warren D. Ware (Beverly), Randle “Randy” Ware (Jenny) and Melvin Ware (Cindy) all of Parkersburg, W.Va.; a sister, Mildred McClung of Davisville, W.Va.; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Howard Ware in July 2011; and a brother Donald Hopkins .Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Keith Hostutler and Pastor Bert Grant officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Walker, W.Va. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
