A Video Tribute is now available on this site.Betty Lee Uppole, 83, of Williamstown, W.Va. passed away November 22, 2014 at the Willows Center in Parkersburg. She was born July 10, 1931 in Wood County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Harold E. and Georgia Dotson Bauman.Betty was a homemaker, loved being around her family, and especially enjoyed her dogs “Roxie” and “Katie” and her cat “Joey”.She is survived by one daughter, Patti Uppole of Williamstown, W.Va.; four sons, Alfred Ray Uppole Jr. (Paula) and Randall Lee Uppole all of Parkersburg, W.Va., Johnny H. Uppole of Lubeck, W.Va. and David V. Uppole (Cindy) of Marietta, Ohio; two sisters, Nancy Silket of Waverly, W.Va. and Judy Roach of Parkersburg; three half-sisters, Donna Knopp of Williamstown, Connie Cale of Parkersburg, and Sheila McLeach of Marietta; one step-sister, Evelyn Wingrove of Belpre, Ohio; one half-brother, Carl Bauman of Waverly; one step-brother, Dale Fore of Walker, W.Va.; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Alfred R. Uppole Sr.; one grandson, Josh Uppole; one great-granddaughter, Cheyenne Uppole; one brother, Donald Bauman; one half-brother, Gale Fore; one sister, Carolyn Biery; and one step-sister, Ruth Hupp.Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home 3005 Grand Central Ave. Vienna, W.Va. with Pastor David Powers officiating. Burial will be at Harper Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
