Betty Lou Taylor, 65, of Williamstown, W.Va., passed away Saturday, March 9, 2013 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.She was born December 13, 1947 in Parkersburg, W.Va., a daughter of the late Homer Luther and Finnie Faye Pugh Phillips.Betty enjoyed gardening, flowers, spending time with her family and her two dogs, Sadie and Heidi. Betty is survived by her husband of 48 years, Howard R. Taylor; five daughters, Sherry McCullough (James) of Davisville, W.Va., Teresa Hamrick (Troy) of Cowen, W.Va., Amy Ball (David) of Strange Creek, W.Va., Brenda Lamp (Stormy) of Davisville, W.Va., and Angie Taylor of Williamstown, W.Va.; one son, Russell Taylor (Becky) of Marietta, Ohio; thirteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous brothers, sisters, and other family members.In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at the Burnt Hill United Methodist Church with Bob Long officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of services Tuesday at the church.
