Betty Jean Starlin

Betty Jean Watson Starlin, 69, passed away May 31, 2017 at Arcadia Nursing Home. Betty was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia on January 19, 1948, a daughter of the late Melvin Watson and Eleanor Cale Watson. Betty is survived by daughter, Jill Dennis and husband, Joe Dennis of Vincent, Ohio; sisters, Mary Putnam and Toni Shutts both of Belpre, Ohio; brother-in-law, Jim Starlin of Lowell, Ohio; sister-in-law, Sharon Watson of Belpre; and grandchild, Cassie Dennis. She was a member of Porterfield Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Harley Starlin; son, Jerry Starlin; daughter, Brenda Starlin; and brothers, Cecil and Sam Watson. Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 5, 2017 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 1305 Washington Boulevard, Belpre, Ohio with Pastor Mark Eaton officiating. Interment will follow at Rockland Cemetery, Belpre, Ohio. Visitation will be Sunday, June 4, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The family would like to give thanks to the staff of Arcadia Nursing Home, CHS hospice, as well as Pastor Rick for the excellent care given to Betty.
