Betty A. Penn

Betty A. Penn, age 69, of Parkersburg passed away Saturday, October 14, 2017 at her residence. She was born July 3, 1948 in Parkersburg, a daughter of the late Jesse and Arthelia Feick Wilson. Betty was retired from Farm Family Insurance and had previously worked at the Board of Education. She was very involved in her children and grandchildren activities and lives. She will be sadly missed to all that knew her. Surviving is her husband of 50 years, Robert Penn; her three children, Wendy Auville (Scott) of Charlotte, NC, Chris Penn (Vicki) of Mineral Wells, WV, and Holly McNemar (Josh) of Parkersburg; grandchildren, Logan Penn, Cameron Auville, Dylan Penn, Katie Auville, Madisyn McNemar, Catie McNemar, and Dacota McNemar; several nieces and nephews; and her two dogs, Zeb and Bella. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Jim, Asa, and Jack Wilson; and her grandson, Evan Penn. Private family services will be held at a later date. Interment will follow at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday, October 16, at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., south Parkersburg.
